Who is responsible for staging the property for a shoot?

Prior to or at the photo session, we recommend that you, the agent outline important elements of the property or areas that should NOT be photographed. Agents are expected to have the property staged and all cleaning completed prior to the photo shoot. The photographer will make a reasonable effort to tidy the rooms to create the most aesthetically pleasing and uncluttered photographs. All properties will be shot “AS IS”.

What do I get from a photo shoot?

Unless otherwise specified, the photo shoot will consist of exterior shots, one or more angles of each major room, and views of the yard and/or views from the property. Your input is important when choosing which rooms to photograph. Without your input the photographer will use his/hers best judgment, experience, and creativity to decide how to best photograph the property.

When do I receive my photos?

 

Once the images have been taken, the photographer will edit and select the best images from the session. These will be individually retouched for optimum quality and delivered to you within 24-36 hours, unless otherwise specified.

 

Agents will be provided with two sets of images; one set optimized for internet use and one set optimized for print use delivered via “Hightail”.

 

Extra CD’s of the photos are available for $10 each.

Policies

Scheduling Policy

Too ensure a quick delivery of completed files, please contact us at least 48 hours before your preferred session time. Please call 204.226.2300 or email info@thepropertystudio.ca to schedule your session.

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation or rescheduling is necessary, please do so with a minimum of 24 hours notice. For reasons other than weather, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged if scheduled shoot is canceled within 24 hours. Every effort will be made to accommodate a rescheduling.

Payment Options

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Debit, and Cheques as forms of payment. Please contact us for more information. 8% PST & 5% GST is applied to all orders.

Rights & Usage Policy

All images produced for an agent or broker (hereafter referred to as agent) may be used by that agent for any and all marketing materials and campaigns associated with the property and for the agent’s self promotion. The photos may also be used by the agent’s parent company for the sole purpose of marketing the specific property photographed for the duration of the listing, and must not be distributed to a third party without permission. Also note that the images will be copyrighted by the photographer, and license granted only to the agent and the agent’s parent company and not to any third party. Any usage of the images by a third party, including but not limited to architecRightts, builders, stagers, designers, sellers or buyers, is strictly prohibited unless approved in writing by the photographer. By hiring The Property Studio, you are bound by this contract and agree to comply with all aforementioned statements and policies.

All materials are guaranteed to be as specified and in accordance with the details and locations discussed. All files will be delivered electronically within 24 – 36 hours from the time of the shoot unless otherwise discussed.
